Shillong, which literally means  abode of clouds is a beautiful hill station in the North-East part of India nestled amidst the mesmerizing Khasi and Garo Hills. Mawlynnong is the cleanest Village in Asia is located in the East- Khasi hills of Meghalaya. Local food  and tribal locals are the attractions of Mawlynnong. Dawki, a town of Meghalaya is a vibrant site of Crystal-clear water bodies. The Meghalaya forests are considered to be among the richest botanical habitats of Asia. These forests receive abundant rainfall and support a vast variety of floral and faunal biodiversity. The unforgettable landscapes of Meghalaya will stay in your heart, long after journey is over.

The land of magical splendours, situated on the foothills of the great Himalayas, encircling the plains with a harmonious nature, Assam also known as the Land of Red River and Blue Mountains. The greater  Brahmaputra  Valley  and The Mighty Barak Valley were manifested by the bifurcation of the tranquil range of foothills from East to West. Assam is one of the richest biodiversity hotspots in the world and consist of tropical rainforests, deciduous forests, riverine grasslands, and numerous wetland ecosystems. Famous for Kaziranga  and Manas  National  Parks, both of which  have now been declared world heritage sites by UNESCO. Besides these two  these are several other parks and sanctuaries like Nameri, Orang, Pobitara, Dibru-Saikhowa interlaced all over Assam. Assam is now the last  refuge to many endangered species like Indian Rhinoceros, Golden  Langur, White- Winged Wood Duck, Mandarin Duck, Bengal Florican, Black- breasted Parrotbill, Pygmy Hog and Greater Adjutant Stork.

Day 01: Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 kms / 3 hrs.)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called 'Scotland of the East" (100 kms 3 hrs). Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 02: Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs.)

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 03: Shillong Sightseeing – Guwahati (100 kms / 3 hrs.)

After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum & Ward’s Lake. After that drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at hotel. In the evening visit 'Kalakshetra', a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 04: Guwahati Local Sightseeing

After breakfast out to visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva). Afternoon we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own). Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 05: Hotel – Guwahati Airport / Rly Station

After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
